Tuesday, October 6, 2015
10:00am – 3:15pm ET
District of Columbia Public Service Commission
8th floor – Commission Hearing Room
1325 G Street NW
Washington, DC

Topic

Technology developments, policy changes, and regulatory decisions affecting distributed resources are happening at a rapid pace. At this meeting, we "checked in" with all of the MADRI jurisdictions to get a handle on the hottest issues they are currently facing. The emphasis was on issues that fall within the regulatory jurisdiction of state public utility commissions. We also heard from PJM about current hot topics for federal regulation of distributed resource participation in wholesale markets.

This meeting was intended to provide background information and perspectives that will guide the direction of MADRI in future meetings. It will be used to select future meeting agenda topics, inform the possible creation of MADRI work groups focused on specific issues, and guide the possible development of MADRI consensus work products.
